Shannon & Dominic's Wedding

My first wedding of 2010 was a beautiful wedding filled with friends, family and school kids! Shannon is an English teacher and it was awesome to see her students turn up at the church in their school uniforms, during school holidays even. Now that is dedication!

Just a quick note to Shannon's students - Don't read my blog as apparently it is riddled with bad grammar, spelling mistakes and anything else that could go wrong in the English language. The good news though, Shannon has kindly offered to "fix" it for me :)

Anyway, onto the images. During a wedding you take certain images that just appeal to you, this is one of them. I don't know what it is. Maybe the look on Dom's face, maybe the Roger David jacket over the shoulder (it was SOOO hot that day), I'm not sure. I just love this shot, that's all.

I love capturing real moments during weddings. Love this one of Shannon's dad reading the paper whilst the girls got ready.

Hair & Makeup was done by Ervan Woo. I love this shot of Ervan admiring his handy work. If you are in need of a great stylist, checkout Ervan's web page - Ervan Woo then give him a call.

Sydney University is an amazing place to shoot. We didn't have a lot of time so we stuck with the one area however I think I could have shot there all day :)

Reception was held at the National Maritime Museum. The ANMM was such a stunning reception venue I will be doing a separate post on the details soon.

Another one of those real moments :)
