Marija & Justin
Thursday, February 3, 2011 at 1:20PM Go get a coffee, sit back and relax. This is going to be a long one as our first wedding for 2011 was, um? AWESOME!
Only a week after I got back from New York, Sarah and I were off again. This time to the south coast of NSW. Marija & Justin got married at the amazing The Verandahs, Terrara House Estate in Terrara, near Berry. It was the first time Sarah and I had shot there and we were blown away by how lovely it is. It suited Marija & Justin perfectly.
I had been excited about their wedding ever since I shot Marija & Justin's pre wedding session. It was so much fun.
The day before the wedding I suggested to Marija & Justin that we get a shot of them in amongst all the cows... Justin was, of course, all for it... Marija wasn't so sure :) Well, I got my cow shot anyway!
Marija got ready in an awesome house up on the hill at Berry.
Yes, the music was that loud but the insanely hot temperatures didn't stop the family from dancing non stop all morning.
The boys were a lot more relaxed in their air conditioned converted stable at Terrara House. Sarah was so happy to get there and just stand in front of the air con!

We thought it would be fun to hand the camera to Justin for 10mins to grab some shots of his new wife. Ok, we actually just so hot we needed a breather but it worked :)
The Verandahs, Terrara House Estate is gorgeous!
The speeches were both funny and heart felt. I love when language gets in the way, this is Justin's mum meaning to say that he went to a selective school... of course she actually said "special school"!!!
Then the tears flowed.
Then the party started.
Side note - I think I had to clone out at least 2 flies in every single image above. They were everywhere. I even swallowed one :)
