Hawaii Wedding

We were lucky enough to get asked to shoot a wedding in Hawaii last month. Yes, Hawaii!

A couple entrusting you to capture their wedding day is such a privilege to start with, however when a couple is also willing to fly you overseas in the process there aren't any words to describe how honoured Andrew and I both feel.  

Due to a privacy agreement with the couple we aren't able to mention their names or display any images that can identify them. However they have been so kind in letting us showcase a handful of images that hopefully give you an idea of just how amazing the wedding was and just how beautiful Hawaii is.

The bride preparation took place at the Sheraton Hotel Waikiki, with the most amazing view from her room.

Yes, the kids DO want to stay here when we all return on holidays!

Another AMAZING First Look! Seriously, we can't recommend First Look's enough. The Bride's stunning wedding gown is currently my favourite..... no offence to any of our other brides:)

How cool is the vintage combi van they hired?

The beaches in Hawaii are beautiful. Sometimes it was challenging not to get other beachgoers in our shots....this one I had to share just for fun.

The ceremony was held on a beautiful beach at the Turtle Bay Resort on the North Shore right at sunset. Perfect!

Thanks again to the gorgeous couple for allowing us to shoot their wedding.  We hope it is the first of many Hawaiin weddings!

Next time I am demanding Andrew helps me to track down the Hawaii Five-0 film set though!

Danielle & Adam's Wedding

Just before Sarah and I left for Hawaii, the day before in fact. We shot a beautiful sydney wedding.

The wedding of Danielle & Adam.

Danielle got ready at The Four Seasons Hotel in The Rocks. The room was so small that Sarah had to wait outside the room with Grandad. I'm glad she did, love this sequence below :) 

I do this shot a lot but I never, ever, get sick of this first dance shot angle. Love it!

The Dress

Just a quick sneak pic from our recent Hawaiian wedding. I just HAD to share an image of this dress! Seriously one amazing, absolutely stunning and unique gown.
