Korin & Chris's Blue Mountains Wedding

Korin & Chris had a vegetarian, non alcoholic dance party wedding in Blackheath in the Blue Mountains. Let's let the images do the talking for this one...

It was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!!! 

 Possibly my favourite from the day.

This was one hour before their beautiful first look & outdoor wedding ceremony. Oh yeah, it rained!

You all know how much Sarah and I love first looks right? No. Well here is another first look to prove why they rock so much!

Despite the rain Korin & Chris decided to stick with the forest ceremony. We're glad they did.

It was very important to Korin & Chris that they spent as much time as possible with their guests.With views like they had who can blame them! so we quickly shot all the bridal photos in about 30 mins and then spent the rest of the afternoon enjoying cocktail hour. Another major benefit to having a First Look!

Thanks to Rod and the team at Wow Productions, The Marquee and grounds looked amazing!

Did I mention there was no alcohol? You wouldn't know it from the dance party that erupted over the cliffs of Blackheath!!!

The beginning of Sienna's Netball Career - *Sarah's Hi-Jack*

Ok, I'm being upfront and admitting that this is soley a proud mum hi-jack of the blog. All about my little girl Sienna.

Sienna is the ony other girl in this Follan crazy house, and I love her to death....BUT SHE DRIVES ME CRAZY!! Sienna is so strong willed, extremely confident & highly intelligent....which in a 6 year old is a very dangerous combination. She also has an obsession for fashion, and has somehow created what we call "Sienna style".  She will combine what I think its the oddest combinatons from her wardrobe and somehow end up looking good.  Just today she told me out of the blue that when she grows up she wants to be a "stylist".  Seriously, how does a 6 year old even know what a stylist is?!?!  She is SO different to me...beside her I feel like such a daggy mum and I now often find myself going to ask her advice on what shoes to wear with my outfit!! 

Yesterday Sienna had her first ever game of netball.  I personally started playing netball when I was 8 and *cough* nearly 30 years later I still love it.  As a mum, you secretly hope your girl enjoys, and is good at, what you were.  Not sure why that is....it just is.  So at 6, Sienna is now old enough to play netball.  With Sienna being Sienna, I had to cautiously approach the topic and casually ask if she would like to play netball this year.  And she said "yes":) I am pretending it is because after all these years watching me play, she wanted to be like mum.....but in reality it was because her best friend was also playing in the team. But you take what you can get right!

Sienna was surprisingly really good and her cute little team won 5-1 :) I proudly ran up and down the sideline with my bedridden hair, shouting encouragement and my 70-200 ready for action.  I'm sure all the other mums were watching me and thinking...."geez, she's taking her girl's game seriously".  No, on second thoughts, I reckon the other mums were all too focussed on their own girls, being proud mums themselves.

So 8am Saturday morning games are now part of our schedule. And I couldn't be happier!

Sienna is quite short for her age group.  So you can see her thinking in the next pic....."seriously this girl is tall"!

8am mornings are foggy. Think I'll need my uggies for when June-July comes round!

This is Sienna's BFF. Luckily she is also a gun shooter!!

Courtney & Nathan's Wedding

Ok, so WAY back in February, in fact a couple of days before we flew out to Vegas we shot Courtney & Nathan's wedding. Yep, I am that far behind in blogging!!!

Courtney & Nathan got married at one of my favourite locations, The Tea Room Gunners Barracks. It was also great having Bec form the amazing Welsch Photography team shooting with me on the day. It's always fun to have guest photographers along for the ride ;)

Sonia & Tim's Pre Wedding {Palm Beach Sydney}

Sonia & Tim love each other. No really they do!!!

When Sonia & Tim sent me images from a pre wedding shoot that Hailey & Andrew from You Can't Be Serious did, I was pretty excited. You see, I had already seen the photos (you have to check out their blog, it's awesome) and had thought how cool an idea it was. I think I may have even been I tad jealous that I didn't think of it :)

So bring on February and one of... no wait, THE hottest day of the year (the temp was hitting the low 40's).

The fight was on!!!

Of course no paint fight is complete without a water fight as well!!!
